I spent last Friday in Cowichan Bay photographing the early morning light and also the late evening sunset. Cowichan Bay is a funky town that really does have character. For boat lovers there are hundreds of gorgeous power and sailboats to drool over as well as an interesting maritime museum. For food lovers there are a number of excellent restaurants, a bakery and the best ice cream in possibly all of the west coast. Try The Udder Guys roasted coconut ice cream if you have a chance. This place is cool.
