There’s a very long story here! Lukeville, Arizona existed for many years in relative obscurity until a fellow named Al Gay purchased the town and maybe renamed it about 8 years ago. I’ll leave the story to the Tucson Weekly at www.tucsonweekly.com/tucson/the-pope-of-gringo-pass.
