Mona Lisa again

How many photographs of the Mona Lisa does the world really need? When I visited her a couple of months ago it struck me that she must be photographed about 10,000 times each and every day and all of these photographs from a distance of about 6 meters and with a sheet of bullet proof glass installed in front of her beautiful face. What a life.

Isn’t it just better to buy a nice postcard or poster at the museum shop? Heck, you can likely even download a high quality image from the internet for free. I guess that’s not the point however, one has to have your own “personal” image. This way you can prove you were there.
