Pima Air & Space Museum, Tucson

Another great destination for the aviation photographer is Tucson, Arizona’s Pima Air & Space Museum which features a display of nearly 300 aircraft spread out over 80 acres. Many of these are housed in large hangars dedicated to particular years, types of aircraft or space exploration. The bulk of the aircraft however are located outside in the beautiful Tucson, Arizona desert sun. This is a truly incredible historic aircraft collection and deserves at least a full day of exploration.
