Pubs

I wish I didn’t like pubs. Of all the eating establishments in North America, they get a bad rap and most folks are just as happy to eat at McDonald’s or one of the other healthy options. The ones of us that are on the go but want to eat badly sacrifice ourselves and lower our expectations to SUBWAY and Starbucks. Then there are the pubs, the one’s I try to hate. I really don’t make it to too many pubs. This photo is from the Crow & Gate Pub in Yellowpoint. This is close to Nanaimo and Victoria, a must see if you visit or reside here. The previous pub I went to was in Duncan about 2 months ago. The Craig Street Brew Pub has good food and beer, just what pubs are for. I’m hoping to get to the new Irish pub in Victoria but haven’t had the chance.
