Sigma 50-150mm lens

I just received my Sigma 50-150mm lens and took it out for a quick shoot during some wet and windy weather here at home. I’ll be taking this lens to Costa Rica next week and will put it through its paces. In the meantime I have set up a quick gallery at http://www.pbase.com/islaguy/sigma_50150.

Overall I am quite impressed. The lens is very well made and I’m not having any focus issues with the D2X, just very fast and precise focusing. The lens balances well although I’ve primarily used it on a tripod so far. I’ll do a full review when I return.
