The Queen of Cumberland

Another storm photo although the waves have begun to dye down at this stage. This is BC Ferries Queen of Cumberland leaving Otter Bay on North Pender Island. The Queen of Cumberland is the main ferry that we use to make our way to Vancouver Island. The Queen of Cumberland holds up surprisingly well under storm conditions and rarely is pulled from service. It certainly isn’t always comfortable during the bad weather however.
