Two falls in a year

I’ve been very fortunate this year in being able to enjoy fall twice. Fall is my favourite time of year, always has been in fact. The kids are back in school with the resulting quieter roads, the weather tends to be beautiful in the pacific northwest and the hectic days of shooting during the summer are over. Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy summer but photographing events every weekend, going to boat shows, listening to live music and having BBQ’s with friends is tough work (I bet you feel sorry for me).

Anyway, as you probably noticed I was in Quebec last month for an absolutely beautiful week of good weather, great photo opps and good company. Can’t really get any better than that. Now since I’m back in beautiful British Columbia I’m getting to enjoy what must be the prettiest fall we have had in quite a few years. It may be that I’m working in a new location in the Cowichan Valley but regardless, the golds are stunning. Fall here has a very different feel from back east. A few photos below, hopefully many more to come in the next week.
