I’ve been doing my best to publish images shot within a day or so of my Photo a Day published dates but for a few weeks I’m going to change the rules a little. There is a reason for this, primarily in that I don’t expect to be doing much shooting this month. I’m sure the odd assignment will be photographed and a few short trips are planned but my main focus this month is to finish my next book. Most of my work time will be spent in front of the computer looking through thousands of images and writing more than I have in years. The photos a day for this month will likely be an image that will be in the upcoming book as I slowly work on the raw files in PhotoShop.

I’m not going to tell you much about the book at this stage other than to say that I’m really excited about the project and the book will “hopefully” be out in about 1 month.  Perhaps as daily images arrive on my blog you can figure out where I’m headed.
