I’ve been slowly sorting and editing the 3,800 images that I shot on my trip in Southern California. That’s lots of images to dig through and to be honest, I’ll likely never get finished with the task as I’ll be shooting about 1,000 photos a week again once I start finishing my new book. It’s just one of those things that takes time.
California has a few more days of my attention before I start concentrating on the Cowichan Valley again. If you are interested in keeping up on my present work you should take a look at my soon to be updated blog at Cowichan Valley Photos.

Wow, you really captured the beach. I don’t think there were as many people there on the day you visited. In an upcoming follow up post, I’ll be featuring a few of the people plus sights I saw.

Looking forward to your next Torrey Pines post. I was fortunate to live near the beach in Santa Barbara for three years while I was going to school at Brooks Institute. Still miss those beautiful sandy walks and the spectacular sunsets. I really can’t complain much though because the image at Plumper Sound, British Columbia is the view from my front yard for the past 20 years. Sadly I have the house up for sale right now as we want to travel more and slow down. A lifestyle change!

Those Torrey Pines images really have me ready to put my backpack on and start off. I love the closeup of the sand – almost looks as if beings from another planet have left us a message; if only we were intelligent enough to read it. But you do a great job of interpreting what nature sends us. Thanks.
Hey have you ever hiked and photographed the Cape Scott Trail? You could do wonders with that misty, moldering landscape.

Thanks for the comments; you need to go to Torrey Pines next time you head south! As for Cape Scott, would love to get up there, maybe this summer or fall. Too many locations to check out!
