I had the chance to do quite a bit of close up photography while I was at Torrey Pines Reserve. This is one of my favourite types of work, partly because of the real graphic qualities that you can achieve but also because very few people see this way. I always get the comment “I didn’t notice that” to which I reply, “Slow down and look”. Anyway, some graphic Torrey Pines images. Enjoy!
I love the first one. Sand can be a great backdrop, with so much texture and various colors. You did discover the smaller side of Torrey Pines. BTW, I put up my part one of Torrey Pines today. If you have time, take a quick look…………:)
