Cabbage Island and Tumbo Island have been a favourite destination for boaters for decades and both islands have now received protection as part of the Gulf Islands National Park Reserve of Canada. We spent Monday night visiting the islands once again and had a splendid evening including a free concert courtesy of a very talented musician on the boat in front of us. Unfortunately a strong wind picked up in the early morning hours of Tuesday and we had to make a quick retreat but we will be back.
